Bayelsa state goverment offers a wide range of online services
Gov. Diri Inaugurates Prosperity Transportation Vehicles
The Governor of Bayelsa, Senator Douye Diri, launched a new fleet of ‘prosperity transportation vehicles’ aimed at enhancing the urban transport network.
This initiative is set to mitigate the impact of the impending fuel subsidy removal by providing an affordable transportation alternative.
Additionally, it addresses the challenges faced by residents following the prohibition of nighttime tricycle services, offering a reliable solution to improve their daily commute.
Bayelsa State Community Safety Corps
Governor Douye Diri, officially launched the new Bayelsa State Community Safety Corps to complement efforts of the conventional security agencies operating in the State.
Six hundred and three personnel recruited into the corps have been successfully trained and graduated. They would be deployed to our communities across the 105 wards.
Security remains a priority of the current Prosperity Government, hence, our investment in the safety corps.
