Professor Beke Tuboukiye Sese is a distinguished Nigerian academic, research scientist, and public administrator who currently serves as the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Bayelsa State.

Prof. Sese is a seasoned expert in Animal Science and Environmental Toxicology. Before his political appointment, he built an extensive career in academia:

Appointed as Commissioner in June 2024, Prof. Sese has spearheaded several high-impact agricultural initiatives under Governor Douye Diri’s “Prosperity Administration”:
Food Security: Overseeing the “Budget of Assured Prosperity II,” focusing on transforming Bayelsa into a food production hub through mechanisation.
International Collaboration: In early 2025, he led a mission to South Korea, resulting in a donation of mechanised equipment (tractors, rice mills) worth over $500,000.
Dry Season Farming: Launched the 2025/2026 dry season farming initiative in Otuasega to boost rice production.
Academic Partnerships: Strengthening ties between the Ministry and Niger Delta University to establish greenhouse facilities and modern research farms.
