APPLICATION PROCESS AND PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING DEVELOPMENT PERMIT

In accordance with the Bayelsa State Physical Planning and Development Law, 2015, its amendments and the Regulation made pursuant to the law, the procedure for obtaining development permit is as follows:

A. Documentation/ Submittals

1. Four (4) sets of A3 drawings duly signed and sealed by the relevant professionals.
2. Evidence of land ownership/ title documents ( C of O, Deed of Conveyance, Deed of Assignment etc) with stamp duty
3. 3 years Tax clearance certificate
4. Structural calculation sheet and engineers letter of undertaking( for storey buildings)
5. Soil test ( More than 2 storey or 3 floors)
6. Site analysis report prepared by registered town planner
7. Site location plan signed and sealed registered town planner
8. Environmental Impact assessment report prepared by a registered town planner(where applicable)Schools, worship center, housing estate beyond 5000m²,filling station/gas plant and all commercial development, telecom mast etc.)
