2023 Armed Force Remembrance Day Parade

His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State today attended the joint military parade in commemoration of 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at Peace Park, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The governor who was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the State Assembly Speaker. Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, other members of the House of Assembly and State Executive Council.

The governor alongside his Deputy, the Speaker, and service commanders laid wreaths in memory of fallen heroes and heroines at the cenotaph at the Peace Park before releasing white pigeons which symbolize peace.
